    Tbab being a classic :lmaooo: one of the qualities of a classic is that it can stand the test of time. One of the main complaints about tpab is it's very low replay lol

    I'll be happy if it wins AOTY it'll be the first one to have a album where the performer is rapping exclusively. Personally I cringe at the sight of people placing it in the same echelon as albums like The Blueprint or Aquemini but I think the genre needed an album that opened up discussions.

    We didn't say that the Grammys determine a classic.... we was saying that he won a grammy for his other album


    but if you think that TPAB isn't a class album... that's mind blowing.

    It's impact on the culture, the fact that it was shedding light on racial injustice. It is sonically and musically perfect. Lyrics are deep and it paints a vivid image of what the world is like...

    Sounds like a classic to me. :wth:

    No? Lol. It's not sonically and musically perfect if people don't have the urge to listen to it that many times. And the story telling on it isn't that good. There's no song that paints vivid image on it like taopp, sherane, or good Kidd. It actually makes me appreciate how good GKMC is

    Top is one of the best label heads/managers ever.

    He wants his artists to go down as acclaimed/legends as much as he wants the commercial success. Dude's got a hustlers mentality too lol.

    I find it to be a flawed classic if such a term exists lol, kinda like Watch The Throne where there are a lot of imperfections on the record but it's impact is clearly evident and it may have had some kind of influence of the genre.
