    @JimmyBucketsNC you might have a point about him recording in Jamaica. Kinda explains the Bob Marley line on "Folgers Crystals". I've heard of plenty of artists that treat their albums like a vacation and find a studio in a remote location to go and lay everything down and then come back to society to finish features, mixing, etc.
    That could play into @2014 Forever Lives JCN 's theory about a reggae influenced album, which would be fire. Imagine Fire Squad hook type melodies throughout an entire project.

    Yea, Cole recorded his s--- in Jamaica, you can tell that just by watching the video. He probably had Major Lazer in there too.

    Cole's also headlining Air+Style fest in LA at the Coloseum this Saturday which might be his biggest headlining show to date as far as numbers are concerned. Maybe he doesn't want all the noise that comes from a release while preparing for that. Could also be waiting to make the announcement at the show

    I'm still wit my high school girlfriend..been together several years now and it works out great we go to different schools so we got our own lives and give each other space and s--- but it's not been as hard as i thought it would be

    A reggae infused album sprinkled here and there would be very interesting as a next step for Cole. If done right, it could be him going back to his roots like Kendrick on TPAB going Africa. Even tho everything originates to Africa but whatever lol. Musically, it will be something completely left, so those who call Cole 'boring', 'predictable' or 'safe' will have to be looking out for this. Now, it could go very wrong lol, and could be corny. And completely left in the wrong way since Cole has barely infused any Reggae in his past music whereas at least Kendrick had Section 80 and other features with Jazz elements. One thing is 100% no ifs ands or buts, if he don't a track with Rihanna or someone known for that style, he lost. He has to collab more with people, he has 2014FHD forever and no one can take that away from him. Now it's time to expand his sound naturally.

    Which is why TPAB is so polarised and will continue to be. Along with the topic of race very much in your face. Cole can do that if he wanted.
