that is simple as h--- lmao, he only used 4 out of 12 months, and they not even in order

and thats not even lines from the artists whos album it is, so that just further proves my point ...

cole had no features and put together an amazing album all on his own ...

if he had drake and kendrick on a song and they ethered him wud that have added to the album ?

honestly i like the song, same way i like wet dreamz and hello ... they add to the storyline of the album but they cud b much better ...

thats wat i hate how kendrick didnt hear any criticisms for the mediocre parts of gkmc while people nitpick every single thing cole does ...

I have said this before GKMC is a classic based off the concept/skits and the greatness of SAMDOT. But it has more filler than FHD imo and thats not even a stretch to me.

FHD filler: Hello (even though I like it), Wet dreamz possible (not high replay value).
GKMC: Backseat Freestyle, Good Kid, Real, Compton.

Every album has some flaws. GKMC and MBDTF still the best albums of the 2010s though.

Yall s--- on backseat freestyle but claim cole has a purpose behind every one of his atrocious lines. Backseat freestyle was brilliantly executed. Its the type of bars you would spit in with your homies when you just rhyming for fun. And art of peer pressure is mediocre?

well then how could u say that simple bar is better than "any lines of FHD" then lol

and thats my point tho, its a great song i love it, i had it on repeat for days during the good fridays ... but its basically just a bunch of features all rapping ... like i said, its EASY TO MAKE ... cole didnt have one rap feature on his ENTIRE album, and it doesnt get boring for a second

So if Cole had up line up like him, Drake, Kendrick, Jay on a track, you're saying that won't add up to his album being better?



I get it, he didn't need it, but it would certainly make it better, as this song made MBDTF better.

My mind is completely made up. Because the highs are so incredible. Money Trees, SAMDOT, and Maad City are better than the three best songs of any other album in recent memory. Plus, the skit and the overall concept make it a better album. FHD is really dope but it doesn't have those highs to take it to the next level.
