    Don't think Cole is interested in dropping an album without songs aimed at the mainstream audience (like THTR for example). It sucks from a listening standpoint imo but it's also those songs that's made him rich so can't really be too mad at him

    you just mean like rapping/lyrics wise tho? because songs like january 28th, 03 adolescence, tale of 2 cities, fire squad ... aren't really for the mainstream ... especially if you compare them to work out, can't get enough ...

    or do you mean experimentally like with a new sound ... because in that case watch out for the reggae album :hehehe:

    no, those songs aren't mainstream at all. I mean an album without songs like Apparently, GOMD, and No Role Modelz. Not that these are wack songs or anything but I think they're def aimed to be played on the radio and get him more mainstream attention.

    i dunno if he was really chasing mainstream attention he woulda pushed no role models as a single and wouldent have put out the GOMD video that he put out i feel like those songs came naturally i dunno i think its just good songwriting tbh and they ended up sounding radio friendly
