    This s--- is crazy. With Sales Plus Streaming 2014FHD outsold Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time to be Alive, To p---- a Butterfly, and If You're Reading This its too late.

    All those projects were released after 2014 FHD, and Kendrick even had a Grammy Boost. People are still buying this album and it'll be a year and a half since its release in May. None of the singles has been announced as platinum or gold, so the singles haven't really pushed sales and the tour is completely done. But people just keep buying this s---.

    This is incredible to me. The longevity doesn't make sense. Lowkey starting to believe Hov might be buying albums. This project really resonated with people for real.

    And I know some (I think @Lockness) of us have been talking about Cole's pen game not being as strong on FHD, and after listening to it again, I kinda disagree and agree at the same time. I feel like what he gave up with wordplay and metaphors he made up for with punchlines or bars that are straightforward but more impactful and drive the narrative of the entire project.

    The way he wove this s--- together is impressive tbh. This album for me is tied with The Warm Up (even though on most days I would barely give TWU the edge) just depends what type of day it is. From a lyrical standpoint, TWU got it easy, but 2014FHD is just too well put together and he's songwriting has grown tremendously. FNL still the crown jewel. Will be interesting to see if he can ever top it.
