It ain't that I don't understand, I just ain't been following the elections, to know what any of them are trying to do. Heard Bernie interview with power 105, that's bout it.

And I wasn't brushing it off. I posted that last night, then fell asleep, woke back up around 1am, saw the replies . Had to wake up at 5. Ain't even feel like replying to no one, just went back to sleep.

Oh and I know weve had this discussion before about oversaturating the market and "undersaturating", and I see what people like cole are doing by trying to slow everything down for them.


However, I think now that the internet age has been a thing in music for these many years it's becoming more apparent that quality is still as prevalent as it ever was (contrary to what a lot of people believe). Meaning that outputting heavy quantities of music hardly correlates to lesser quality or even longevity.

Look at future (who at this point i see as a one trick pony btw) he put out so much good material in such a short amount of time and yet hardly any of it was overlooked because it was quality. People still play that s---.

Point being, you can put out forgettable music every three years and people will forget/not care, and you can put out timeless music every month and it will still be classic.

Just felt that needed saying because i see people downplay an artists music because of how frequently they put it out.

Yea i mean i know it is harder to stay relevant while everything is moving so fast and what people like cole are doing is commendable, but it still doesnt make the music any better.

Quality over quantity is still relevant, but there's no reason you cant have high quality AND quantity.

I see what you're saying tbh. Basically what Kendrick did with untitled unmastered. Even though I don't like tpab that much, he released more songs from that same creative space so those who liked tpab could enjoy more music. It also brings extra hype and attention. Future did it well with monster, 56 nights, and beast mode. He should've ended that sound with beast mode, but then he overplayed it. I haven't listened to purple reign yet, and I don't plan on doing so. Evol is still the same thing. At this point, it's obvious that's the only thing he can do. Kendrick did it well. Release a mixtape or EP with quality songs that didn't make the album. Quality and quantity together

@reD10S exactly. I think you're spot on on future too. He never really grew musically and after 5 projects it's bound to show.

@Rowney nah im sure he has a lot to say. I doubt that's whats keeping him from releasing more music.
