(1) In my opinion if Hillary would actually follow through and do the things she says she will as President, then I think we will be ok. My issue is that I don't believe a word she says based on how inconsistent she's been both recently and throughout her political career. (She's still way better than Trump or Cruz so I'll ride with her either way).
(2) Bernie isn't planning on making college free. He's planning on making public universities tuition free, functioning similarly to public high schools.
(3) his plans for health care (and all other benefits) will be funded primarily by trimming dollars off of the profits of these large corporations/companies, and plugging that money into benefit programs for employees and consumers.
(4) "taxes" will go up for everyone, but with what people will save after having zero fees on health and benefits coverage, the taxes of the upper-middle class and below will be offset, and the tax increases will only affect the top 1% as he says.
(5) Bernie actually does have a plan that will cut existing student loan interest rates to 2.35% (not sure how that affects your loans).
(6) In general, his plans, although they are complicated for regular people like me to understand, economists say they're really smart and completely realistic even if they're radically different from what exists now. He structures all of his policies around restructuring the economy by easing the burden of working people and making all the super wealthy pay their share. Basically, his policies make it so that anyone cannot generate massive amounts of wealth and profit without providing equitable compensation and benefits to employees. Also, he has ways of taxing Wall Street trades to put money back into the pot for all of the funding for his programs.

I don't know exactly what's going on there but usually when the super rich and corporations are taxed more than lower & middle class there's a surplus in the economy. There is more $ for working ppl to spend that way. Money has to circulate. Giving the rich and corporations tax cuts only widens the wealth inequality even more. They typically just save their tax break money and let it accrue. That doesn't help the economy at all. If done right, Bernie's proposals would help strengthen the economy and lessen wealth inequality a great deal. Obama has done a lot to create jobs, but more works needs to be done. Especially when it comes to regulating Wall Street and corporations.

The corporations begin to invest elsewhere if they're taxed on their operations. The uncertainty that the new policies created caused countries to buy oil from elsewhere and that absolutely destroyed our economy. Oil is a boom bust cycle so I'm sure it'll eventually straighten out but idk. I doubt my province will ever vote left again cause of what happened.
