A better comparison would've been dreamville, since they're both owned by 2 top artist in the game.

why would they compare an unsuccessful label to another unsuccessful (#s wise) label. What point does that make? they're trying to say OVO is failing as a label with the way they're promoting.

Because he consigns people that are already generating their own buzz, and he simply advertizes their quality output to a greater audience. As opposed to his own signees who largely have no buzz to begin with, and he's trying to build them up from scratch.

That s--- is kinda perplexing though. Like, dvsn and & Majid Jordan had good projects, idk why they had to rush them out so quickly. I know they're trying to avoid Views, so why not put them out early 2015 or in the fall? Everybody loves surprises but a little promo not including IG would definitely help the cause.
