    Yep. And I think he'll drop a song soon. A feel good summer b-----r. He needs SOMETHING new to perform at all these festivals.

    I don't think he needs new material to perform tbh. A lot of rappers keep performing the exact same s--- at festivals

    I don't think he is, FHD came out a little bit less than 1.5 years ago and it was a successful album so maybe we should let him breath

    Not exactly. If you're talking about Shaq not committing to signing with Orlando after being drafted, I'll use Mirotic as an example.

    When Niko got drafted, he chose to play in Spain for a few more seasons. So the Bulls owned his rights, but weren't paying him when he was there. If he didn't sign his deal within 3 years of being drafted, the rookie pay scale no longer apply to him.

    Back in 92, those 'rights' rules didn't exist the way they do today. So if someone gets picked #1, they were able to withdraw, play overseas for a bit, then come back and sign with who they wanted. Which is why the Magic started to feel pressure. Do you draft Shaq and let him walk, leaving a team in it's 3rd season with nothing to show for the #1 pick? Lot of things were in play, s--- was wild back then.

    Now, talking about his FA. Today we have restricted free agency, which means that when a draft picks contract runs out, you have the right to match any offer given to him. In 92 the NBA didn't have restricted FA, which is why Shaq was able to sign with the highest bidder (LA).
