    White people are crazy man, going to prom this year and all the parents will be keeping tabs on us all night like some prison camp, posted up in the bathroom so no one can duck out for a shot, chilling on the bus so no one can pregame, searching our bags, watching us change for after prom. :empalm: As if their b---- a--- didn't drink for their prom.

    cole had some buzz on myspace apparently. labels were checking artists' page that showed up on in "buzzing" section or whatever. i bet mark pitts saw his page.

    I'm black but I understand. It's just parental protection. I have a baby girl and I've already thought about the protection I want to provide for her now and when she goes to high school. I done some wild s--- starting in middle school. It's hypocritical but hey, it's just being a protective parent.

    I'm honestly not quite exactly sure. @Lockness explanation sounds plausible. G-Unit were looking to sign him before Hov too but it never really worked out. I think people just knew about him in general in underground circles but he wasn't buzzin like that.
