    First listen completed. First half is better than the second. Album too long, I began to lose interest. Not really a fan of controlla, one dance hall or any of the songs similar. He sings too much but that's his style and it always grows on me. I love when drizzy goes introspective. First track is beautiful to me. When he's rapping, s--- is hard! Hype and Weston road flows :bigquint:
    Need more spins.

    That applies to 'professional' critics whose publications affect the masses. Doesn't really apply to dickheads (myself included) on these threads.

    Every artist has a repertoire of topics that they go to. Cole will always rap about social issues and his personal life struggles.

    You never have completely new subject matter but I think with Cole you got a brand new concept/way to frame your life. With drake he kinda relies on the soundscape for evolution but with this album there's not much of a departure except for the sunnier tracks. Still a dope project though.

    This will be considered as a "good" album at best.

    The hype was much better than the album

    It'll at least be considered great, it's NWTS and Take Care territory.

    Drake doesn't have a classic yet, and this is probably too long to be his first but he definitely delivered.

    It's getting better every spin for me.

    Why songs on Views sound like they can go on take care or NWTS??

    does FHD sound like any of those songs can go on Born Sinner?
