    Dancehall doesnt do much for me in the first place, the track just sound pretty basic to me. Its funny, everyone was shi--ing on Controlla and These Days when they leaked. Now Controlla is the fan fav.

    I mean I thought it was decent as a demo but the finished version is light years ahead. Also, my opinion of the song is more freshly informed by watched some of God's finest of female creations wind to it over the weekend. I'm biased. I can definitely see why you think it's flat.

    Those categories are confusing me. Publishing as I understood it was the rights to use the music in movies, tv, etc. And licensing like clearing samples and stuff. Those percentages and allocations of net are varied deal to deal. But I'm shocked that Drake would have so little in publishing. His music is everywhere.

    Yeah, I guess all that cash money is going straight to Birdman/the label. The fact that Drake had a Superbowl commercial and Cole still beat him... :lol6:

    :dew: That's prolly a big reason why Drake's music is so pervasive. Once you hear a song while f----- up/having a good time, it instantly becomes GOAT. I remember I was at a Chance concert and was so high I had arisen to another dimensional plane and Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye II came on while we were waiting on the show to start. s--- was the best song I'd ever heard in my entire life. I Hated it before. s--- even had me vibing out to Future.
