I absolutely agree, I'm just telling the reasons behind those decisions. Most of the time MVP awards are given to the right player, but there is a list of few players in history who deserved the award more than the one who got it that year, but because of contradicting rules they didn't get it. Wade is absolutely on top of that list. LeBron deserved the MVP, but Wade deserved more. It's a shame cause when you put it in perspective, Wade 08-09 season was statistically better than any season Kobe ever had, and Kobe somehow finished above him in the MVP voting that year too. I also read here that Lillard deserves this year MVP more which is absurd to me cause if any year there was a clear vote for unanimous MVP award, it was this year Steph and 2012-2013 LeBron. Lilard was phenomenal, but Steph was just on a level never seen before, like LeBron. And Kawhi being 2nd this year behind Steph and before LeBron, KD and Westbrook is laughable. Media dickriding Spurs got to a point where Kawhi is recognized as being in the same stratosphere with LeBron and KD. That dude ain't nowhere near their talent offensively. Has less than 10 30 point games in his career, his assist totals are trash, and etc. And when you point that out, the media and same those reporters who vote Kawhi would hit you with "but he plays within the system, he would average 28-8-5 on a trash team easily". s--- is trash and always been trash, but I stopped caring about it long time ago. Numbers and video tapes don't lie.

Have you watched lebron defensively this year though? I'm being dead serious because he's not been good. He took a year off. Lebron used to be able to shut down D Rose now he can't even hold Curry one-on-one. Again I'm not trying to come off as a hater but Lebron ain't the best player in the world anymore imo.

I think you're misinterpreted my post. I said Damian was more valuable to Portland being successful than lebron to Cleveland since everybody wanted to use that argument. MVP has never been purely about and individual's value to a team though. It's always been about league wide impact and being the best player on a great team. That's why steph absolutely deserves it.
