    I think it's just that it happens to be a nerdy white guy, Vice literally interviews everyone, from children to g--- bangers to jihadists. I never got the vibe they were taking advantage of or making fun of anyone in their interviews

    I hear u, but when he says without dre i dont think he's talking about dre influence just that cosign that seemed like an essential for upcoming west coast artists.
    And tbf him and mustard created a new sound and la ran with it for years. This gfunk influenced sound is more like a homage. I dont think he leans on dres sound that much really
