the only reason anyone would get upset by KD going to the Warriors (same with Bron to Miami) is because it makes it harder for their favorite team to win. all that other "mentally soft" bs is just that to me

easy to say someone looked worn out when they we're playing through injuries. 2 of the 3 new players are glue guys and can be put on any team right now and would fit right in. That factors in when you think about chemistry, obviously its going to take practice but it's easier when you have players like Noah & Lee. As for Derrick Rose, yeah he struggled in the first half of the season but similar to your Wizards he actually showed some consistency in the second half of the season, mind you the past few off seasons for him have been rehab as the priority. This summer is all about refining his game to have a good season so he can get a good contract next year. Jimmy Butler is a slashing guard as is Derrick Rose, that's why it didnt work. Melo doesn't need the ball in his hand to score which is why he's been so great in Olympic play.

I love John Wall and Beal has the potential to be something special but its been a couple of years of the same from him. He's still on the border of becoming a star player maybe he'll take that next step this year. As for Otto Potter he's still young so I can't knock him but he needs to do more if the Wizards have a shot of competing in the East.

Wizards games will be circled.

I wouldn't say that. I became an actual thunder fan very organically. I was more than a kd fan but he was the reason I became one. I just want him to do well and win of course. but I'm not gonna be posting "go warriors" on the internet

I don't think this is fully true... or I disagree better still.

Isnt it nice to see the best players compete against each other... I don't know maybe I'm thinking about it the wrong way, but I could never see Webber going to the Lakers, Malone to the Bulls or anything like that.

I mean, I get he wants to win, but he built something good, maybe not great with OKC why wouldn't he want to ride that out and see what could be.

One game away from the Finals ... I mean that aint bad.

BUT again, my opinion...

yeah I definitely understand being upset from a viewing standpoint. but before the warriors series the same people who are upset now were saying kd is never gonna win a title. once kd got hurt it felt like to me no one gave a s--- about watching the thunder play until that warriors series. the team was kind of forgotten. what if Westbrook left after next season? would people still watch the thunder? I don't think so. don't trip because a lot of teams got better this off-season. we still gonna see some great games

s--- I'm not denying their talented but it's gonna be a different team. they're going to play differently. both kd and curry just choked away 3-1 leads. both giving up future MVP's and scoring titles to win championships . nothing about that sounds easy to me

I didn't think it was gonna be possible to win with two stars like that. I do think he made the best choice in terms of winning. I'm just surprised that he picked GS... The vibe I got from him as a player was that of "through thick and thin" ... this gives him the best chance to win, I'm not hating him for that...

I think his willingness to put aside ... "competition" is what I question... no doubt he still has to prove it and work hard... I don't know man... even writing this, I am torn... I guess I'm seeing it from two sides... and don't know what side i'm getting the best view from

A pg that could attack the basket and draw in defenders to get him open shots, yeah i think that will help melo and kp. I think he averaged 8 one year, i'm curious too but having better/more options to score is something he lacked throughout his career so hopefully he realizes that and takes advantage of it.
