When the cop yells "he's got a gun" you can clearly see sterling in the video try and put his hands up like I ain't got s---. At this point dude is panicking for his life and moving around so the cop shoots him 6 times point blank in the chest. U can s---t to disarm, but this was nothing but murder. The shop owner clearly said sterling sold CDs there all the time and never caused any problems. Also, media is trying to paint him as a criminal from bringing up past charges, but all you gotta do is watch that video of his son crying his eyes out to see that he was a good man. There's zero way to justify what those cops did @Grandpa Simba

f--- off with this too. Him being in possession of a firearm is also irrelevant. In a state that is completely lawful to carry a handgun without a permit youd think police would be better trained than to fire off a round into someone's chest at the sight of one.

THe discussion between innocence/guilty is of less importance. The man had both hands pinned down and got murdered. The cop then comes to pull something out of HIS POCKET from which it's extremely hard to gauge what it is. His life didn't matter to Those cops. This s--- only seems to happen to men of color. The owner even said there was no gun visible and yet he still was murked.

I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers here. Like I said before, killing another man should be the last option. Based off the video, yes, it looked completely unnecessary. I was just stating how I don't like how people automatically jump to the conclusion that the victims are 100% in the right when that might not always be the case.

Some people are obviously mentally unequipped to be police officers. This s--- happens too often. Major changes need made. More thorough de-escalation training is a start

sounds like you just want to make excuses, a man has been shot dead he had a family we have seen the video what else could have happened out of camera to make that lawful he was pinned to the ground and even if you think you have to s---t 4 times in his chest, really? The problem is the first thought for most people in your country is to look for a reason to defend the cops, to try by all means to say no this wasent wrong and that there was a valid reason why he should have been killed and even after all that has happened still the police force and police officers will not come out and condemn there peers, your country is so messed up seriously you dont know how the rest of the world views you guys. Supposed to be the most developed country in the world your just so far behind.
