Man u did pretty well to get 2nd row. I was there as well but missed Future. How was he? Watched Craig David instead would have gotten a lot closer to the front if I saw Future tho. I could tell some ppl around me were a bit bored by Coles set tbh and they were probably mainstream fans

You talking about melodies like future can't do r&b s--- like smoke break and turn off the lights his whole career, like future ain't make one of the best songs of last year with beautiful melodies in March madness. Future done way more and birthed Desiigner's whole wave so don't talk overrated with me when he's the diet version of this n-----. It's cool though maybe he'll find his own lane but for now we all know who fathered him.

Lmao "Turn On The Lights" was made in 2012 when he worked with Mike Will who is one of the most versatile and best producers in the game who definitely had a lot to do with all the melodies and s---. It ain't a coincidence that Rae Sremmurd have hits on top of hits because they work with him, cause he's a producer, like he knows s--- and he tells you how to do s---. Haven't made a song of that and "Neva End" magnitude since he been working with Metro and 808 Mafia trash a--- computer programmers. s--- is still his best song to date. Even Drake couldn't make this dude sound interesting enough to listen through a 10 song tape. Smoke Break is alright, he wasn't anything spectacular on there but it was a dope listen.

Bliss too hard on future lol i cant f--- with his projects like that but he has bangers. But i do agree desiigner sounds like he's naturally better at creating melodies than future.
Even in that freestyle xxl cypher thing, dudes s--- sounded on point.

As a Cole fan I couldn't be happier with his place in the rap game. This dude doesn't need to be the "chosen one" (Kenny) or the "superstar" (drake). He's found his lane, hes the one for the people. I've gone to about 30 concerts in my life and I have never seen the emotions in a crowd that I see from a Cole concert. This dude does it for the people. Sure he could be dropping loosies and s--- to stay hot but I don't give a d--- about that tbh. We are a bit biased and upset that he isn't performing new music but we gotta remember we are the 1%, we are hardcore fans. These people in South Africa etc. haven't been touched by these songs yet, or the casual music fans at these festivals. We would be greedy to not let them have that experience just because we want new music. The dude made a project that he is truly proud of so who are we to not let him share it with as many people as he wants to. And also, don't let @Bliss calling him mediocre bother you, he's a producer dudes mind is on a different level sonically, it's his opinion. It's all up to us to feel the music and see what speaks to us, don't feel like because someone is voicing a different pov that it discredits Cole because it doesn't.
