A lot of artists compare being signed to a label to being something like a slave. You got logic off his last tape, krit who lrft def jam.. The list is long. Even hov eluded to it on the khaled track when he was saying you ain't made it til you on your own. Artists get disillusioned being signed to a label and I think that's what Cole sees what's wrong with the game even tho he doesn't have those pressures anymore

But I think even more relevant than that is that Cole doesn't really have much left to talk about. The new potential direction is social commentary and that only comes from a negative standpoint

Listened to it once half drunk. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Seems like something he did in one studio session of 2-3 hours since the beat is simple and basically a loop which tells me not too much effort was put into it. Prolly will listen to it again when I can, but can't see myself listening to it more than 20 times.

Was watching Khaled breakfast club interview and he was like, if somebody telling you it's not about the money or dont get the money, you better run fast. We need money to survive, he ain't make the rule, that's just the way it is.

He probably wasn't referring to Cole, doubt it, but I thought about Cole when he said that. That whole f--- money spread love s--- lol. Or him saying he think being broke was better. I can understand him saying, he had it better when he was broke, but saying being broke is better than being well off

If you ever been dead broke, that s--- is not a good feeling. Right now I'm living pay check to pay check, ain't getting paid s---.

That's why I don't think it's just about him not being able to do his music the way he want to, it's more than that , what's going on with Cole.

I just find myself not agreeing with some s--- Cole say or do, like him selling his car, riding around a bike.. really n-----? People saying he humble because of that, that don't make you humble, broke people have cars bruh, a car is vital to your life. But Cole is famous, he can get away with not having one. A regular person can't, they can, but it'll be kind of hard on them.

Him on that bus in Queens, idk what was up with that, he was in NYC, so I don't find it that weird. B it some of his stans was like , look at Cole he is this humbled dude, he riding a bus like a normal person and they was saying it like, any rapper that has a nice car is fake or dont care about the people, which I think is wrong.

Yes, society standards. People think one should Live a certain lifestyle because they have money. That's bs to me. I don't look at anyone funny for living how they choose to live. It's their life. It's not even about wanting him to live this certain lifestyle, imo, if I was rich I would probably be more like Cole than some of these other celebs, but at the same time, I wouldn't be out here riding a bike, or looking homeless lol. IDC bout his hair, I think that s--- is dope. Lol

Him telling people it's not about the money.. he telling people that ain't got s--- don't get it. So even though this n----- out here selling drugs trying to make ends meet , or cause he can't get a job, or the job he has ain't paying s---, he telling him, this rap game ain't it, don't come get this LEGAL money fam.
