Also... on a side note... Anyone hear that new Joey BadAss song?

I kinda hate that he had to go a more pop route...

I mean don't get me wrong... I love the track... but I always want that REAL for Joey!

Yeah, that what I said ... I love the track...

but like he had to totally switch his unique style up... why cause he wasn't getting any shine?

    like he is singing?

I wouldn't even compare Kendrick to nas, I never not understood what nas was trying to say in a song. Nas is straight forward just like pac and cole..

"Pac was like Jesus, nas wrote the bible.."

cole saying that imo was him basically saying he a mix of them. That's accurate af. And it's crazy cause pac and nas are my top 2 ever. Cole my favorite now.

I really don't know who to compare Kendrick to tho. never listened to a rapper and not fully get what they talking bout as much a Kendrick. Maybe he a black eminent idk

And people need to stop saying pac wasn't a lyricist. Pac could rap with the best of them Bruh. I don't know if people got the wrong idea of what a lyricist is.

n----s need to dig deeper into pacs discography or something. Like, pac could f---ing rap Bruh. When ppl just say pac wasn't a lyricist, to me it's like they trying to say pac wasn't that dope of a rapper, like he was a lil yacht or something

If you consider biggie a lyricist then you gotta consider pac one.

2pacalypse now is some of pacs most lyrical s--- imo. n----- had some crazy flows on that album

Didn't realize Hov's verse on "I Got the Keys" was a diss to Drake. Or at least a slight jab.

Drake- 'I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella then I turned into Jay'

Jay Z- 'Til you own your own you can't be free
'Til you're on your own you can't be me

You never f----- with Lupe? Blu? Talib? s--- even 3stacks sometimes ...

Just s--- that goes deeper, that makes you think about a double and even triple meaning?

I like that s---, I think this new Kid Nick Grant is cut from that cloth.

As for Pac... He was dope and if you said he was top 5 even top 10 greatest lyricist all time it would be a stretch. He had good story telling and melodies... But he was more like you said straight forward. Nas Jay Big Em Cube 3Stacks ... Rakim ... They were all better lyricist... But to mean Pac's subject matter, flow and charisma, elevated him high than all those dudes.

All of this is Cole for this generation. Nas comparisons never were on point to me. He's always been like Pac.

Cole is what yall like to call it "people's champ". Pac was and is that too. Pac comparison is prolly highest praise you can get anyway.

Pac was just as lyrical as the ones you named. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be mentioned up there.. :mynig2:

If you say Big, Jay, rakim , Nas, Cube, was lyrical, so was Pac. How was they so much better than Pac lyrical??? I don't see it.

    Put it like this...

Don't we all consider Cole one of the top lyricist in the game right now right?? No one has a problem saying that????

So, if Cole is considered a top lyricist why isn't Pac considered one?

    spot on tbh :weebey:

cant understand what twista says cause he raps fast. Kendrick don't even rap fast, you can understand all his words, but you still have a hard time figuring out what he is saying, that's the crazy part.
