    May be some truth to this, but i don't think we even saw the best of pac anyways. He was just reaching his prime by the time he created Makaveli and his music was still changing imo. People underrate Pac as an artist. A lot of what he was doing on Makaveli was not only some of his most poetic lyrics, but also some top notch, live instrumentation which just wasn't being done at the same level.. All of the eerie premonitions about his death also add some mystique to that album for me.

    Its powerful but the more I hear it the more it feels preachy. Cheer up is just raw emotion, everything about it just made me stop and reflect on life
