I think he's just scared to release his next project.

Afraid of not living up to the success of your past work, scrapping your whole album, feeling you've ran out of material and going on long breaks usually does not lead to a good album. I have a bad feeling about his next project, i think it could be another Born Sinner. Of course it will get support because he has that type of fan base, but I doubt it'll be amazing or on par with FNL/FHD & if he doesn't get a similar or better reaction to it as fhd, he'll probably become even more depressed.

He'll be able to bounce back though. The album after this next one will more than likely be fire.

This better be sarcasm fam. This post could honestly be made before every single one of his albums to date. In fact I've most likely seen this post all the way back to the jcn days. That being said, in my opinion there's three major reasons for the delay. 1. He's starting a family. 2. He doesn't want to release on tidal. 3. The album isn't close to done. He's been doing shows for two years straight, he will take a solid 7-8 months to finish up the music. In summer 2017 we won't be getting just an album but most likely a short movie of some sort as well.

Idk about the whole Tidal thing honestly because Usher, Rihanna, and Kanye were all on that stage with him and have their music on all platforms, and they all have more money than him so I know he doesn't have a larger share than them lol
