BTW, I only just realised how much Cole sings on this album meanwhile I've never been a fan of singing Drake, mainly why I hate Take Care. I'm the biggest hypocrite of 2016. :kdotrly:

SHOUT OUT TO HASMAN, CRUZ AND THE CBOX FAM (EQUIS, BIG B, etc,). RIP JCOLENATION FORUM

I wanna talk about this new Cole album real quick. 4YEO is a disappointment

the vision and message for the album was good but Cole didn't properly execute. Since the album was 10 tracks (with a short intro and a long outro), every track needed to hit. Yet he puts Deja Vu, using the same sample Bryson Tiller used, prob out of pride. Ville Mentality is basically a knock off of 'Institutionalized' (Kendrick did it better) with mediocre singing. Change is also forgettable, despite the strong message.

The issues of FHD are magnified on this album. Ex. Too much attempts of Cole trying to sing, especially when you signed a singer for your label (why not utilize her more?), no features to offer another perspective or complement tracks (why not get Isaiah or Kendrick on Neighbors?), and finally why not use more OUTSIDE PRODUCTION. Just like with FHD, the more notable tracks on this album are the ones with outside production (Immortal and 4YEO).

Unlike FHD, 4YEO's pacing is bad. This album's pacing is similar to Born Sinner's where its basically a flat line.

It's a shame because Cole's rapping is really focus on this album (not alot of cringeworthy lines or filler bars) but Cole can do better than this. FHD remains Cole's best album while FNL is Cole's best project.

Just heard false prophets on the radio. It's official now.

Was just waiting to hear it on the radio to truly believe it can be #54 on the hot 100. Ain't even been listening to the radio lately, cause I've been playing the album , it probably been getting hella play on it.
