    I think @reD10S meant out of touch as in out of touch marketing/making his presence known. He just dropped an album and vanished.

    In terms of relating to non-famous people he's not out of touch. He's got his finger on the pulse and is socially/politically conscious and relates to a lot of people

    To add to @reD10S thoughts. Cole sold 511k first week off hype from 2014 fhd, false prophets, and everybody dies. He essentially ditched all that and made a laid back, subdued album that has the worst replay value ever. A 7/10 album after u have all that attention on u for calling out kanye, and lil whatever rappers, is dropping the ball to another extent. He had every OG, hip hop head, and most of the rap industry waiting for the album. Smh. Guaranteed whatever he had in February >>> 4yeo
