I'm not saying they gotta wait long, but they have to promote and give time for the project to make its course through all avenues. You are doing the artist a disservice if you don't properly give him time to marinate you know...

@KLD3816 - Im listen to that s--- like right now... I love it still. I do wish there was one or two more songs and something a bit more up beat but if I want that I just put on some Goldlink or something else I just downloaded.

I think people sleep on the replay value cause of the theme of the album, I don't want to hear depressing s--- always but I f--- with the album almost everyday still

They can promote each of their albums and still drop other albums, for example bas still dropping videos for too high to riot still , and he dropping documentaries even with jid just dropping and its taking no shine from j.i.d. and i think j.i.d lil promo has been alright, for them to have just announced his his signing a few weeks back, n----- been every where.

Ari been doing interviews and s--- and she been on tour with dram, since she dropped.

I agree with everything about pitchfork, they're usually trash, but Ed Sheeran's album was pretty disappointing for me. Obviously not a 2.8, that's absurdly low but it wasn't better than a 6/10 I'd say. A lot of it felt like I've heard it before and wasn't anything better, although a few tracks were great.

Wizards man, they're a dope team. They've always been hit by inconsistency and injury though so hopefully they keep this year's momentum up. I like the way the East is setting up. Just looking at the Cars run, they could end having to go through the Heat, Bulls, or Bucks in the first round, all teams that at least play them tough. Then probably the Raptors, and then either Wizards/Celtics. That's as competitive as it's gotten for LeBron from top to bottom.

Fam, let's be 100% real for a second. We'll always listen to Cole whatever he drops and whenever. On that note, 4YEO is still good album, but there is no high replay value. Makes you want more and better.
Bas can be dope, but his s--- is mostly one listen classics. If he drops, it's alright, I'll listen.
Cozz dropped trash a--- project and isn't evolving as an artist as he should be post Cozz & Effect. He'll always be your average rapper with a maybe few gems here and there. Nothing else.
Omen is 34 year old. He's a good man. But he's average artist at best. No shame in that, props to him on not giving up on his dream.
Ari has 1 dope feature on Backseat. She's a good singer. But there's a lot of good singers out there that I come across every day. So far she showed nothing on her EP to stood out.
Lute, heard a few songs from him, they were cool. Need to hear a project before judgement, so it can be fair.
J.I.D. has the most potential out of all, besides Cole. He's only one doing somethind "different", out of the box, fresh, whatever you wanna call it. His new album is cool. Replay value isn't the best, there isn't much cohesiveness in the song itself, let alone as a whole project. But there is some potential that others lack.

Dreamville is not a dope all around label. Cole's judgement so far of who to sign has been average. Even worse than that, he let these 2 dudes from NC that play ball with him who are bad at music, record their project at his studio and they want to get signed by him. I know this for a fact cause they want to use some of my beats for it. I don't consider myself better than any of these Dreamville artists so I can trash them cause I'm not (yet), but just wanted to do a quick reality check cause I think I can objectively critique something. More Dreamville means less Cole. And I would rather have more Cole and less Dreamville.

I agree with you for the most part. And 100% about the less Dreamville more Cole s---, but I think he's trying to make it so that he can help other people live out there Dream.

That being said, we know that historically these f---ers have made countless mistakes. I just turned 30, I'm old as f--- but I will always f--- with Cole's music, Regardless.

I think LUTE and Ari have the best chance to blow, need to listen to this JID kid more. Lute's project Westside1996 is dope, it's way more my vibe. And I think Ari has a different sound than other singers.

Honestly, I think Cole has his head and mind else where. I don't think he want to be in this s--- forever, I feel like if he faded into the books as one of the best, which he already is, he would be fine with that. I don't think he still care about being the best ever like he used to. Just my opinion

Word to be real most, including myself, were expecting something like this out the wizards last year after their playoff berth got cut short cause wall got hurt . Starting 5 solid as f--- and they bench starting to piece together n helping win some games on the road now (9-1 on the road last ten..sheesh) finally over 500 in that regard

We already know how they do at home so thats encouraging. Health permitting this the 2nd best team in the east and shud give lebron a run in the ECF
