    The way he goes in on Immortal is just as impressive. Same with how he raps with wordplay on Folgers Crystals, second verse Night Job, KTH remix and Villuminati...among others. Cole always got bars. And now he just has more melodic, relaxed bars that are easy to vibe to for casual listeners (first verse Night Job, No Role Modelz, Deja Vu, TO2C...and the last verse of G.O.M.D. flow is best in the game.

    None of those aside from KTH and maybe folgers compare to his bars back in the day. Beautiful bliss, return of simba, simba, Dp2.. I could go on but my point is his bars have dropped off. He doesnt have witty wordplay anymore and hes more focused on being an accessible artist. Bars dont always = great tho, cause i think hes better at crafting songs now but if we talkin strictly bars, he's definitely not as focused on that s--- anymore and it shows. But ur right he does have more melodic flows and s--- now. I guess its preference on what type of "bars" you like.

    He just changed his emphasis. He's less concerned about wordplay and punchlines and I understand how people can miss that s--- cause I do too.

    But if we talking strictly bars and writing 4 Your Eyez only track is the best track he's ever written and it ain't just about similies and metaphors. This s--- way more powerful. Better than 2Face, I Get Up, etc. and those are some of his best songs ever but as a writer acting like Cole is not focused is hilarious and is only true if you picking certain songs. But if you talking cookie cutter lines and you bring up Dead Presidents 2 but you ignoring s--- like 4 Your Eyez only title track, then I really don't know what to say.
