    it's really bad

    like it would be dope if i was 14 and watching shows like 90210 and gossip girl fantasizing about living that american highschool experience.

    but yeah he's just a kid with a good voice, but the maturity of his content isn't there at all.

    a few good cuts (location, saved) but for the most part, you probably won't even get through a first listen if you're 22+

    He hated it but there's some gems on here. Dudes voice is golden. Lotta potential there imo. Lyrics are typical pop stuff but I didn't find them as bad as @Mike Tyson did.

    There's some pretty bad songs no doubt and that's def one of them but his voice is so good i kinda wanna see where he can go from here. Songs like therapy, cold blooded, 8teen (chorus corny but sounds good and is catchy lmao), location etc show he's got a lot of potential.

    no doubt, lots of potential here. but it's not like Bieber where he utilizes his voice in pop music and then transitions to more mature content when he's ready to execute. to be fair, he also doesn't have usher to help manage his career. but then on the flip, khalid is 19 and the weeknd was 20 when he was making house of balloons.

    it's the delivery of his music takes a serious tone real talk, and the content is very hollow. like i said, i feel like his music is an adaptation of a tv show written for teenage females. 8teen is actually a prime example of this type of writing.

    but that said, i actually think 8teen is one of the better jawns because his singing is dope.

    but yeah, no doubt there are a few gems. location probably the only one i'll come back to a year from now tho.

    Gave it a spin and it was decent. Couple gems for sure, but I agree that the way he's talking bout everything is too "childish" most of the time for me. But it was the same thing with Bieber when he was his age for me. I can see him becoming something dope in 2-3 years if he surround himself with the right people. Location flames tho.

    word, to me it just worked with bieber because he approached with a 100% pop approach.

    I heard those songs he released prior to American Teen. They are catchy and chill, content-wise its really for teens, hence the title. But I don't have problem having them playing in the background while I chill or do stuff around the flat.

    maybe there won't be much flow to it, as it's a playlist and not an album or mixtape, but i think it's going to have like b-----r after b-----r. so just in time for the summer black out drinking nights.

    i think you're going to love it for the production though, everything i have heard has been next level from drake (and that's saying a lot since production is drake's strong suit).

    based on the snippets i think it'll comfortable sit top 4 in his discography with NWTS, take care, and IYRT.

    I heard some snippets, but for the sake of 1st listen I only played them once when sent to me and deleted em. I'm trying not to get too hype cause I think I'm one of the few dudes here who still enjoy Views, but all that s--- sounded fire af. Feel like more people are hungry for Drake this time, which was not the case when he was killing features left and right since 2010.
