    TPAB was a challenge for him. That's one of the reasons he made it. Making hits/ bangers etc that's like a layup for him. Also, he never makes the same project twice. Top 5 rapper all time in his prime rn fam. He won't drop anything less than a 9/10 project

    He already dropped untitled tho. Idc what that was supposed to be but that coulda remained on his hard drive.
    Plus his feats on s--- like maroon 5 and goosebumps and a couple others i forget make me doubt him.
    He still got potential to drop great music but he'll never top that pre gkmc run he had. Feel like dudes like him and cole start to take themselves too seriously and feel they have to drop something thats gonna change society forever instead of just making dope music.

    Sideline Story prolly his best album in terms of replay value. I still revisit it from time to time. 4YEO a good album, but too dark and depressing for everyday listen. If he gets a Drake feature on next one, rating and quality will automatically go up.

    I get the taking themselves too seriously vibe but Kendrick is too good to drop a dud. Untitled was just leftovers that Lebron forced him to drop and it still somehow made aoty lists. Doing tpab imo helped him break out of a box. He gained s ridiculous amount of artistic freedom from that project. i think this album will be more "street" than jazz. I'd be cool with 14 money trees tho

    Yea i agree with this. Kendrick is still super talented but if the artistic freedom he earned with tpab means making weird voices nobody wants to hear than id rather not listen. Still have some hope tho
