    it really is very f----- up

    theres people living their whole lives working 2-3 jobs to make it by

    while cole just has to make a few songs and tour every couple years

    yet he's still unhappy

    idk i see his side as well but if you really take the time to think about it, n----- you blessed

    @2014 Forever Lives JCN Cole said it feels d--- good being married and having a kid. Doesn't sound depressed. Hopefully we get more feel good music mixed in from now on.

    He's living man, enjoying his life ... I can't hate that.

    Good for him. I want more music of course, but if I had a kid, I'd want to enjoy my kid first and foremost!

    I don't get that from that interview at all though. He says he used to be in a bad place comparatively. Anytime he's in a bad place is because he's talking about the state of things outside himself as evidence by the narrative of the album. I don't know for sure, but this is probably the most comfortable with himself cole has been with himself since he started being an artist.

    He don't seem mad though. And what is the dream? To make music have a fanbase you can share it with. Sure. But just because he's living that dream doesn't mean he has to live a paparazzi lifestyle or live how every other celebrity has ever done it. Sure that attention comes with it but you can still live your life how you want it and that's what cole is doing.

    Kinda odd that Cole said it's his last show for awhile last summer. Now he's going on an international tour. Just a bit strange.

    Any chance we'll get a few bangers on TY4 tonight after the documentary? :stephena:

    i just don't get why he's not using his voice and position as much as he can be ... especially considering what he said in the EYEZ video, he has this position right now, could lose it tmro and will not get the chance to say everything he wanted ...

    i don't think the paparazi really gives a f--- about cole lol

    I think Cole's got it perfect tbh. You hear a lot of famous people saying they love the life but if anything they would want their privacy back. Cole's out here selling platinum albums whilst still looking like a bum and helping out kids at basketball games. I think he's putting his family life first, he's already secured finance for at least his grandkids' generation, he just wants to raise his family away from the lights and chill with regular people.

    If you go back to his music on Warm up and FNL we know he always wanted to uplift his people in whatever way. I feel he's just achieved what he's wanted to musically and is gonna naturally transition into an activist/uplifter and use his position in whichever way. It's a shame cos he does make great music now and again but I think the stanning days of Cole are over

    I feel you but what do you want him to do? He's still an artist at the end of the day and his main contribution to the world will always be his music. Thats why we got an album and a we are getting a documentary and even High for Hours. So he's saying heartfelt well thought out s---. I don't exactly know how much music would be enough for you, but I feel like he's using his platform fine. He's just not choosing to release music all the time which is cool. Other genres been doing this for years so I don't see the problem.
