Cole's inner circle needs to encourage him to go see a psychologist/psychiatrist/therapist. He is clearly depressed. You can help the dis advantaged and advance their unattended issues and still make balanced music.

He has acknowledged he can't do it all by himself; he has acknowledged he is in his prime. All this nonsense of not wanting to brag rap because you feel some type of way about the troubles people are facing is just that: nonsensical way of thinking which is usually associated with depressed people.

How is he gonna advance the plight of the disadvantaged if he quickly becomes irrelevant for the large part? His career formula prior to 2017 was right: music highlighting serious issues, happy music and just bars for control. And guess what? He go bigger even without the industry f---ing with him like they do with some of his peers.

This direction he is taking now of only seriousness will quickly lead him to irrelevance. When you're irrelevant you're no longer taken seriously when you speak. He'll no longer be able to influence what can happen to these people. Whereas if he gets bigger and bigger, the powerful will try to align with his way of thought either just for PR or because someone has made them realise what's the right thing to do. Either way, he'd help more if he's a bigger star.

You think Obama would have had MULTIPLE meetings with him if he wasn't a multi platinum star? I highly doubt it, only Chance's connected a--- can only do that.

He literally says in False Prophets: "My highest moments come from tellin' all the saddest stories."

He made an album that's kind of depressing but has positive vibes in it and y'all think he is depressed? Lol okay.
