    Cole will always provide social commentary in his lyrics. He has throughout his whole career and it looks like he's only getting better in that regard. And I still think he'll still do uplifting and positive songs, too. He doesn't have to brag on-stop or anything. I'm sure he'll still have feel good tracks though.

    Joe Budden trash, but he said everything right. How the f--- you change 360 and all of the sudden you talk you don't want to be the best when most the s--- that got you here in the first place was you talking about you want to be the greatest? Lmao I still support Jermaine Cole the person, but I don't f--- with J. Cole the artist like that no more at all. People talking about Drake being soft, but Drake is Ron Artest for Cole in terms of being soft. I said yesterday that I appreciate Cole doing this documentaries and using the platform, but I am also sad to see this dude look like this. I remember the times when he used to be the life of the party, cracking jokes, bringing positive energy into every room and s---. Nowadays when I always see him this dude barely smiles at all. Even if he does, it's that "yes man" half smile s---. Don't know why he changed like that, but that s--- is sad to me.

    An obvious disillusion with newfound fame after the huge success of FHD. Everything kept getting bigger and bigger and it must've overwhelmed him, hence him moving to a house in NC instead of NY, away from the rap scene.

    I highly doubt that. If it's music related, I would say it's more due to inability to top his mixtape work. Either way, hope he gets better.

    4YEO is great, the tempo is just too slow. Cole is rapping his a--- off on this album, dope choruses/hooks but the production is off a little.

    Cole is really like a dude that hoops and worked his whole life to be the best player ever. He gets into the league, wins 1 championship then starts talking retirement... rap is a competive sport. Somebody really needs to diss Cole and wake him up.
