Watched the doc last night, High For Hours and that song he played on there are better than half of 4YEO. s--- was only 10 tracks no idea why this dude didn't put them on there.

True. They have their own styles. Kendrick is more animated and hyper active. Cole is more laid back and melodic on the mic, which kinda makes him more accessible to everyday listeners.

I was just bout to say its a perfect summer-getting-drunk song. I would probably get f----- up to this song this weekend, but s--- is looking more like turning some Take Care Drake next to a fireplace.
I can already see myself playing this song 5 years from now and catching some summer nostalgia. Swae Lee's voice is perfect for the song.

Rae Sremmurd are cool, but their beat selection got worse. They need to go all the way pop, not that half a--- bs. Swae as a solo artist is one of the best in the game.

I've seen some stupid s---, but it never took my interest, I don't really understand why would you do stuff like that to yourself. I get that the sensation is outworldly and indescribable, but bro it is destroying you with every use. smh. I can even try to understand the weekend use, but when it gets out of hand with weekday usage then you have to pray you pull yourself out.
Do we consider weed a drug anymore?! I see more and more people smoking in the middle of the street without giving a single f---.

So just watched the documentary. Was pretty cool, they showed it at a theatre(er) here in London and surprised at the amount of people that turned up with like no promo, people really like this homeless guy. I liked the intention of it, shining a light on people who don't have a voice and showing their struggles. But I felt every time u were getting a feel for one person's story, Cole would just bump one of his 4YEO tracks and interrupt it. Initially it was cool watching the videos and listening to the songs in a different context but it almost got to the point where it felt like he was just mainly using this doc to promote the album. Of course that was one of the main intentions of it but it was almost like the songs took centre stage and the stories were like the filler. It only scratched the surface of the issues that they were talking about. I guess also the message of the songs help to fill in to the whole narrative.

Another thing is the whole depressed vibe that Cole brings to this which a lot of u guys mentioned. Again I'm sure Cole is completely genuine in his intentions but it's almost like he's playing a bit of an act to actually portray the struggles that he's been seeing when he's travelled around. Imo it's a bit patronising to the people living there cos they're just living life and striving for better things. The least u can do is to smile and spread joy to people which I didn't really get the impression he was doing. When u see people struggling, it's one thing to give them a voice but u have to do everything u can to uplift their spirits as well and this whole vibe just seems a bit odd. The bit at the end with the young grandma was great and something we should have seen more of. For a guy who talks about God a lot, you'd think he would try to be more uplifting.
