He gonna end up in Boston. Few days ago I got a different perspective to what Ainge is doing bro. He knows he can't beat LeBron so he's just chilling and stacking the future first rounders to use them for trades later. I knew that already, but to me it doesnt make sense if you use picks on Brown and Tatum, not to mention two years ago when they had 3 first round picks, traded non, only rotational player Rozier. In three years they will demand a contract, I doubt it will make sense to sign them then trade them. In theory it makes sense, but the execution is iffy on Ainge part.

Tbh last year draft class was trash so he can get a pass. Selecting Tatum is alright, a lot of teams like him so he can be a good trade addition if he doesn't play like trash this year. For example Pelicans get Crowder, Tatum/Brown, 2018 Nets pick and 2018 Philly pick for AD. Who says no?

Cap space probably I get what you are saying, my only problem with the first round picks is they lose value when a name is attached to them. That is my knock on Ainge, I think could've done a better job with maneuvering the picks before the draft.
