Like I said though, most times cole be having certain topics that he be wanting to rap about, his albums have themes and s---, s--- don't require him to go hard on every track. And that shouldn't even be the main focus IMO. Cole ain't got s--- to prove, if you know rap, you mostly already know cole can go in. He just comes through every once and a while to remind n----s, "oh I can really rap too, I do this s---".

Y'all don't get it. Hard doesn't have to mean he's yelling like Meek out there. I'm talking about rapping with this kind of energy, this tone in his voice, you can hear dude spent some time on this s---. It's not typical Cole verse where he just raps for the sake of rapping. This that Warm Up "I'm better than everybody and Ima prove it type of s---". I ain't heard Cole get this creative with his flow and rhyming in a minute. When he raps like this, he's the best rapper alive.

To this extent, no. This feel fresh, like Super Sayan version of Cole. Like he mastered the technical part of rapping and now is just the question how creative can he be with it. Those are all dope songs, but all have that typical Cole flow. This feels different.

That's exactly my point, why don't do it every time? Why don't have this type of pen game and energy throughout your whole album? Songs doesn't have to be bangers. Just push yourself forward, evolve. Cause this is exactly what this is. This is how Cole was supposed to sound in my head on his first two albums. This the type of growth I wanted to see. Just my 2 cents, and I'm sure many OG fans will tell you the same

Honestly you guys are all lost. Hip hop is art it is music its not standing in a park spitting 16s anymore cole can spit like that anytime he wants but he choses to make better overall songs instead because he is an artist a musician not just an MC. Of course Joe prefers him to spit like that more cause joe aint no artist joe is an MC im sorry im a music fan i i want this hip hop culture to be pushed forward so yes i am happy he decides to make art and not just spazz on every track like a r-----. People just love complaining i guarantee if he continued rapping like he did on mixtapes people would complain aswell.
