i grew up in a black church in the south, a lot of my family is christian.and most of this is not how they act lol, s---, my pastor right now got divorced some years ago.

only thing that's looked down upon really is homosexuality and even with that, its a lot of gays in church b.. alot dawg

church used to be strict back in the day, (from the stories i've heard from my family) but these days it's way different.

If you want the answer to your question just type it in google and begin your journey the information isnt hidden its there if you want to know but if you dont thats fine aswell ignorance is bliss knowing more dosent make you happier. Having something to believe in that has no logical basis and as such cant be questioned is so much easier no matter what situation you find yourself in life you will always have hope you will always have something to comfort you.

you go, you pray, you pay your tithes to help the church and to get your blessings (i dont pay mine, i need to start doing it ) they take up an offering ,

they sing songs, and you get the word.

s---, the week be stressful for a lot of people, when Sunday comes people look forward to going to church cause the s--- release stress. everybody who go to church are not saved, or exactly living right, i know im not. i try to go though, aint s--- to take a few hours out of a day to go to church.
