    I listen to UK scene more than US. When Drake co signed Skepta in 2015 and started to mess with dancehall, it sparked a completely new wave there. He basically created a scene, cause now you have hundreds of artists coming up with new innovative s--- and pushing the music forward, unlike in US where everything is copycat trap s---.

    You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried man. Cole isn’t even bigger than Kendrick here. d--- and TPAB both went #1 on the album charts. FHD and 4YEO didn’t even debut in the top20. Kendrick is wayyy bigger. And don’t even get me started on Drake lol. He sold out like 10 arena shows in a row in London alone, while Cole only did 2 shows his last tour and the second show was only half full. Drake has countless #1’s, platinum albums and singles here too. In the grand scheme of things Cole really ain’t s--- in the UK compared to his peers. He needs to link up with UK artists and jump on the sound in London if he wants to get bigger over here.

    drake dident start the dancehall wave in the UK was influenced buy it from us. Our culture and music is very closely mixed with afro beats and dancehall. Our artists been having that influence in the music from long time ago like a really a long time ago. It just got bigger in our country again after J Hus first came out which was end of 2014 start january 2015. Drake dident start nothing here all the credit goes to J Hus he created this new wave

    I maybe used the wrong word. Drake made it worldwide and brought the attention of the whole world to the UK. You're right about the J Hus

    I agree with everything you said until your last point. He doesn't need to work with UK people to get to that level. If that was the case, why hasn't Kendrick? And why isn't ASAP Rocky/Rick Ross/French as big as Drake since they have worked with UK people? Yeah they don't show in sales but the UK loves Cole.

    Literally everyone you named apart from Kendrick has worked with UK artists already. Drake has just done it consistently and actually made hot tracks that get played in the club. He was already massive over here but the collabs put him on another level.
