that dude got A LOT better - i actually remember listening to a couple of his songs back when that story bout him "stalking bas/ib" came out way back when n i didn't find him that great (the tracks were aiiight) ...

but that one actually really impressed me

whats crazy is the advice cole gave him that he referenced in the song (to not try n sound like cole n b himself) is probably what made him b so good now ... Cole better watch out that advice cud b the thing that makes dude b at the top of the game in a couple years

Cole shudda gave that advice to logic

Listened through ROTD again after a while and the tape is still nice, pretty cohesive. Still got some aberrations like Henny flow
Didn't realise how salty Cole was about Drake and Kendrick, it's pretty evident throughout the whole thing. Blowin' Smoke good example, forgot that he pretty much fired shots at drizzy with the "naming females he slept with" thing and also a mention of kendrick "they putting n----s who I put on above me".

He doesn't get credit for his jokes tho, like on Bitchez during omen's verse "and that a--- rotund (read a book b----)"

It wouldn't make sense to drop ROTD 2 now with the confirmed classic on the way tbh

need Bitchez part 2 tbh ... lot of people hate on that track but i love it for wat it is

and ROTD2 doesn't necessarily need to b like the first ... this one can b more of a celebratory "we made it" (but still have a long way to go/more goals) feel as opposed to the "underdog"/getting slept on vibe the first one had ... especially with cole now not caring bout the credit anymore ... it can b full of fun songs, maybe even take it a step further n b nothing but songs like bitchez

i don't hear it, he shouts out drake i don't think he says anything bout turning down a deal tho

Drake don't even wanna sign tory lane doubt he wud sign a real rapper from TO

d---, that's rough for Lupe. Though it has gotten good reviews which could push it a little bit. But that is a pretty weak first week for Lupe. Its not a bad project either.

Hold out on the L's until after midnight tonight

We didn't get anything last year till around 9:00 Eastern standard time. A music video this afternoon would be dope and then ROTD2 tonight. Wishful thinking though.
