    if this album a classic cole has 4 certified classic projects warm up, fnl, 2014 fhd and kod plus he has amazing eps like the truly yours series and great loose tracks that hes released over the years so really when does the greatest of all time convo start cause it has to at somepoint

    Cole's my favourite rapper but idk. To be considered greatest of all time you have be great at multiple things, he's best at giving a message that makes his fans think but that's not what everyone wants. He dosent have the versatility in his discography that the goats do for me to consider him greatest ever

    Also pretty sure some random parody account is gonna upload a Cole lyric from the new album and say “Cole ripped this beat ” and it gets 17K Rts and 30K likes

    I agree he isnt the most versatile which is a very valid point against him but its similar to saying the way you get the end goal is more important than the end goal itself. If the best way to get to the finish line is by running straight why run in zig zags and do an obstacle course on the way by the time you cross the line people may have stopped watching or you may have got lost and not even get to the finish line. I feel like some rappers get so caught up in the way there gonna deliver the message and try make it too intricate that they lose there way and the message they were really trying to get across dosent always come through. If you can do both and get the blend right then perfect do it but honestly i dont think anyone ever truly has. TPAB was the closest to it. I think a lot of the reason he sounds samey is that he mostly uses his own production which has stopped him leaving his comfort zone in the way that he makes music but last couple albums he opened up a bit more and looks like he has on this new one aswell
