I think the fans get caught up in the competiveness of the music industry and don't realize that their favourites can be their favourites without them being "the best ever" and s--- like that so they say ridiculous things when people make fun of their favourites

I really hope cole have a couple/few features on his next album. k--- Edward was perfect for this one.

All jokes aside, his hubris is becoming too much now. I wanna hear the competition. Boblo boat was awesome. I wanna hear that awesomeness on his own record.

I think cole is at his best on songs like 1985 and brackets. He's getting way better at social commentary. His next album should be more of that. His thoughts on what he sees in society on less of a personal level.

Even when you go back and look at high for hours, want you to fly, false prophets. The way he dissects these topics is phenomenal. A whole album of that would be fire. I feel like when he raps from a personal perspective he gets lost sometimes. His social commentary tracks are always 100% focused.

I think (hope) The Fall Off will be him on a bunch of outside production with big name features, and the album gonna be mostly full of hits. Thats why its called The Fall Off cos his core fans gonna think he sold out and fell off.

Cos He’s really taking this no features meme too far now, 3 albums in a row so he can’t do it again.

This album really surprised me because I go into every Cole album expecting there to be 1 WOAT song on it. But these are some of his best.

I dont think we'll ever get another album from cole with features. The n----- just does it on his own, and it work. Honestly i dont feel none of the tracks from his past 3 albums needed features. Maybe a few singers on sone hooks, thats it. But rap features ? Nah.

Maybe if he made a album without a real concept he could add some rap features, but these last 3 albums i feel cole had a certain story he wanted to tell and message he wanted to get out, and only he could do it.

First off, I'm glad people liking this album and its dope that Cole getting all the love and success in the world.

The good thing about this albums
Experimented with flows
Voice and tone changes
The second half from Kevin's Heart onwards>>>>>>

Bad things
Hooks could have been better
Production was shaky
Concept could have been better executed

Don't want to ruin the party, but I gotta be honest, this project probably one of my least favorite Cole projects. This project feels the least like a Cole project than any project before mostly because he's of the parody narrative in the first half. The "reliability" factor is the lowest its ever been here. I got Window Pain on repeat (contender for SOTY), once an addict is incredible as well but some of the criticisms that I've defended before I can no longer defend. None of the bangers on here b--- like that at all if I'm keeping it a buck. Compare any b-----r here to ATO2C, Look Alive, DNA, etc. There's something missing with the KOD, ATM, Motiv8 style songs and that really hurts the album for me. None of the mainstream attempts are as convincing as what he did on FHD. At this point Cole needs to make use of his connections and work with all these other producers cause they're better at creating the bangers he's looking. It also would benefit him to get some singers to do some hook.

I love Cole still gonna buy the album and still will support as always. But this is the first time I've ever been truly disappointed by a Cole album. Even with 4 Your Eyez Only (that people just hate because its quiet and slow) its still deeply captivating story of African-American tragedy and you still have 4YEO, Bell Tolls, and Change. Its still disappointing to me that this far in his career his features (American Dream, Boblo Boat) continue to be more impressive than his studio albums.

With all that said, glad y'all are liking it. Obviously people are connecting so I might be in the minority here. Keep enjoying it. Just had to share my piece.
