    Love how people saying this is a flop when he legit said it was going to release 4 days before the album came out.

    Videos are fire.. Streams are crazy... obviously they under shipped the album. I think it should be closer to 500K.

    The stream numbers are down from last time because his physical sales are less this time. Yall know the sps numbers are just the streamimg numbers added to the pure sales. So if his pure sales are at like 156k now cause they stop selling CDs in a lot of places, then his sps numbers are gon be lower than last time...

    i dont know if what i just said make sense to yall. But idk, i think these numbers he doing make sense

    my breakdown.

    the Intro & KOD set the album up, Photograph - Kevin's heart is about various demons, BRACKETS & Once an Addict are turning points, FRIENDS & Window Pain are the resolution.

    Intro: self-explanatory, introduces the various forms of coping with pain and the importance of choosing wisely
    KOD: KingOverdosed, drunk of success and 100% braggadocious. Cole's at the top and the decline is starting.

    Photograph: lust in the social media era. pretty simple, but effective.
    The Cut Off: vulnerability and being too trustworthy with friends. k--- Edward deals with that through drug use.
    ATM: literally Addicted To Money, the video portrays this concept pretty well, doesn't need too much elaborating.
    Motiv8: carries on from ATM, but leans more towards needing any form of motivation to deal with demons.
    Kevin's Heart: again the video portrays this well, but this is about temptation and need for female attention. while ATM & Motiv8 are more satire, this is an actual struggle Cole faces. As he starts to own up to it, it marks a transitional phase in the story.

    BRACKETS: learning from ATM and Motiv8, this is about being financially responsible and the implications of the tax system in the USA.
    Once an Addict: maybe the most important song in terms of story, Cole acknowledges that mental health issues have been following him his whole life but that he's always running from them. although some of the project is satire, this is the reason why Cole made this album as he understands the dangers and commonality of depression.

    FRIENDS: The end of k--- Edward, Cole gets that he could blame various factors for his demons but is committed to finding another way of coping.
    Window Pain: reminds me a lot of Love Yourz in terms of message, Cole is grateful for those that stuck with him through his depression and that he hasn't felt the type of pain that others have. the end marks a rebirth, the start of a new world as the kids say.

    Final thoughts: I feel like this is a really powerful and timely message that makes a lot of sense for Cole to deliver, given his personal experience with depression (from his mum to Born Sinner to aspects of 4YEO). I don't think the story is as clear-cut or cohesive as FHD, but I'm really enjoying the project more and more.

    I hope Bernie wins in 2020 against Trump and then crushes Kanye in 2024. He’s not too old. He’s still in good shape and has had no health issues. Bernie 2020. A principled progressive who fights for the people.
