    Cole makes the most basic lil lyric melodies sound dope and effortless

    Real s---. I obviously don’t make as much as Cole but I’m still pissed at where my tax dollars go. I don’t think Cole would be mad if he knew his taxes went to s--- that actually helps people like education, mental health treatment, healthcare...instead of s--- like they do now like subsidies for greedy corporations, militarism of cops, war, etc...

    I think there has been a lot of Cole comparison throughout his career but I think what just hit me that has never been said in detail anyway is Oddisee. I just heard The Iceberg for the first time the other week and thought wow, this man is incredible! So is his discography. I feel the people who don't rate Cole would rate Oddisee more in the sense that his production is better imo. Also, they both are surface level rapper but with great messages, others may think Oddisee says it more clearer on smoother production like Cole. And Oddisee has never put out out a mediocre project whereas people may say Cole has 1 or multiple. Could be an argument from the people who find Cole boring is that Oddisee from at least a producer standpoint is what Cole should be. But that's just my random thoughts.
