    Puerto Rican's are barely citizens tbh. They aren't even a state and contribute zero to the US economy. Our money is better spent elsewhere like beefing up our borders and military to keep our citizens safe. They should solve their own problems instead of looking for handouts.

    They are U.S. citizens. No way of denying it or minimizing their citizenship.

    Aside from being the moral thing to do with giving them aid and support.... Here are some facts about Puerto Rico

    As a territory, the U.S. federal government controls all of Puerto Rico's commerce, trade, immigration and naturalization, military affairs, mail, highways, natural resources, Social Security and federal taxation and maritime law. Puerto Ricans have been and are an integral part of the U.S. military forces


    In 2009, Puerto Rico paid $3.742 billion into the USTreasury

    We spend way, wayyyy too much on military, homie. We are bombing 8 countries and it only creates more terrorists and problems. War on terror = fail just like the failed war on drugs. Even if we cut our military budget in half it’d be the biggest in the world. $$$ is better spent on infrastructure, healthcare, education and taking care of our own citizens, Puerto Rico included

    My grandfather was nuclear. Let me tell ya. Those are fake numbers show me some sources. Puerto Rico aint a state and even if it was I wouldn't care. It would be like North Dakota having a state of emergency. No one would care cuz who cares about ND? No one cares about flint Michigan cuz in reality it ain't a big deal. We don't really spend that much money on military and we need to spend more to make sure we keep the strongest military in the universe. To prevent more terror atracks I believe in just nuking the Middle East and starting over in that area. We could send our prisoners over there like how Australia was founded. The war on drugs isn't failed it's just getting started. Trump is taking a strong stand against drugs and making the prison sentences longer which they should be. We need to crack down and clean up the streets. These are the people we would send to the Middle East to settle a new colony.
