    That, almond milk, some s--- on KOD i forget, this verse on jay rock song where he rhymes outlet with outlet (good verse besides that)... like it just seems lazy

    Not sure how to put this into words properly but you see when hes done that hes emphasised the word the second time hes saying it. Its manly to emphasise what hes saying so hes making sure you realise how weird him drinking almond milk is and how much his wife changed him for example

    same on the j rock one hes emphasising that the character hes portraying is not happy is is looking for an escape so he uses outlet again and it gives this feeling of desperation that dosent matter what it is he just needs to get out. its a good technique when story telling it can subconsciously stress or convey a feeling or an emotion hes definitely doing it on purpose i dont think its lazy just a technique he uses some times to emphasise things.
