    Y’all have any issue with listening to music of someone who’s a bad person and has done awful things? For example, Kanye, Breezy, Nas...

    I go back and forth...but ultimately I seem to separate personal lives with the art they put out. It took me awhile to listen to Nas’ new album this past summer. He definitely abused Kelis and hasn’t faced any serious consequences. He’s a coward and needs to be held accountable.

    But I still listen to his music, mostly older stuff. And I think he’s one of the best rappers of all time.

    I’ve never really cared for Kanye as a person. I’ve always thought he’s too full of himself. The MAGA stuff put me over the top. But then again, I still listened to his new s--- last summer. I really like Kids See Ghosts, but not his Ye album.

    But I think he’s mentally ill and needs to go out of the spotlight for awhile while he gets professional help. I don’t want to be too hard on him because I truly do think he’s not well.

    Chris Brown abused Rihanna. When that first came to light I don’t think I listened to any of his songs for a few years. And then that Fine China song came out and I bumped it a lot.

    Is it hypocritical of me to listen to artists I think are of bad/questionable character?

    I've been thinking about that a lot lately, with everything going on. I started thinking about almost everyone that I like as an artist or entertainer have all done something morally wrong to a certain extent.

    Abuses of a woman... degrading lyrics... Selling Drugs ... infidelity... sexual misconduct... promoting inner city crimes.... homophobia .... all of these run wild in the music I listen too... whether or not the artist speak on it or actually do it... promote it or have a had in it... All of them are or have been guilty of these things...

    I don't know, I guess it just depends on you the person what you feel is right. It's are hard line for me to define... what should I be okay with... or where should I draw the line...

    It's honestly confusing... and challenging.

    did yall know the crack epidemic started in 1985.. hence "1985 off KOD" also the year cole was born of course,

    album keeps getting better and better as i find out more s---. i always knew it started in the 80s somewhere, but i've been reading up on it, cause i been looking at interviews videos and stories bout rich porter, alpo and AZ. if yall dont know about those three people look up the story. the movie paid in full was based on them. ATM can really apply to their lives frfr.

    reading about it,. The word crack first appeared in the ny times in 1985. cocaine related hospital emergencies rose by 12 percent in 1985, and some more s---.
