    Yup and a lot of the tracks that made it onto the Truly Yours. I remember there was like a bulletin board maybe (?) with the tracklist on the old dreamville blog. I tried to find it but I think it’s lost to time.

    One thing I’d love to find out one day is why Truly Yours and the BS era loosies are soo much better than what they ended up putting on the album.

    They’ve talk a lot, in recent years, about how they didn’t have the confidence at that time. Maybe it’s as simple as that? They were trying to play the game still? But he was really in a zone at that time. A1 rapping and flow, super introspective stuff. Just like classic Cole. And then none of it was on the album, lol. I thought it was over for him then and then they totally flipped his career with 2014 and he blew up they way we all thought he would with his debut.

    I actually hope this is a b-----r and lead single worthy and not no everybody dies/false prophets boom bap s--- that you listen to a couple times and never again. The fact he specifically said T Minus produced it gives me hope it will be a slapper.

    FHD is prolly his most polished album to date, KOD the most ambitious. I'm still waiting for that album where I won't have to skip/delete 3 songs at least. IMO that can only happen with Cole letting producers do the production mostly, and he do the rapping mostly. This is a promising start if it's an album single fam

    I feel it. That kind of speaks to how much potential this guy has. He’s got like 8 projects, hundreds of songs. And we’re all like, “ya but there’s more still..” Budden actually nailed these points on his pod the last few weeksx

    I think Dreamville might be dropping a song every Wednesday in the run up to ROTD3. This might not be for a Cole solo. Obviously Cole’s music is quick to clear plus i doubt T Minus used samples so its easy to drop as the first lead song, compared to other cuts with features/samples ect.
