    No troll, 100% serious. I think Breezy is one of the best of this generation. Anything he does is fire, and he's been doing it for a decade now. The drama in his life outside the music attaches a stigma to him, but who else could go through what he went through and come back with 0 loss in relevance. Great talent.

    I agree that he has great talent and is probably unfairly judged but I wouldn't say 0 loss in relevance. He was on is way to becoming the biggest male pop star of our generation. He's still dope but he was headed for bigger things imo. The stigma has definitely affected his popularity.

    I guess you're right, he's still moving units tho. He's at 330,000 copies sold of X to date, which isn't Cole/Drake/Kanye level, but that's the next step down (in this culture).

    So he went from tier 1 to tier 2 I guess :ehh:

    His last 2 albums went gold and platinum as well :ehh:

    there's an argument that he's bigger now than he was before he beat Rihanna to a pulp :idk:. That takes some doing so credit to him but the industry could well have chewed him up and spit him out, we all saw the photos. I like his music but I find it hard that he kinda got a pass after that

    I am by no means defending Chris Brown's actions, what he did was beyond wrong. He's still doing community service for that s--- to this day and deservedly so. However, I don't feel like we should define someone based on 5 minutes of their life. It's easy to label the dude a 'woman beater' but there's always more to the story.

    This is NOT a blanket statement for rapists and murderers.

    For sure, so there's another example of an english soccer (football :hov: ) player that's been in the news recently. He's been convicted of r--- and served his sentence. Recently got released and has tried to resume his career but whenever he's gone anywhere near a team to negotiate a contract, sponsors have pulled out and the team's fans have signed petitions for him not to be allowed to play for their team plainly on moral grounds. The circumstances of the "r---" were not violent but I don't wanna get into that argument lol. So now he's got that mark against him for the rest of his life and can't carry on his trade. I'm a bit suprised the same didn't happen with Breezy :idk:

    Edit: then again I'm comparing r--- with brutal domestic violence
