    He's still relevant in the r&b world but he was way more relevant in the pop word before this happened. I don't think he's that popular music wise anymore. I don't necessarily think he got a pass because his reputation took a huge hit but he should definitely be glad he still has a career after all that.

    Exclusive and X were both good albums to me.

    But the same argument can be made for Cole lol, aside from 2014 FHD.

    For those that don't know, Jon Bellion is the Young GOAT.

    He produces and sings all his own music. Can even rap a little bit, and can even make dope animated videos.
    Dude has it all and is a future superstar

    He's got three projects (Translation through Speakers, The Separation, The Definition) but here are some standout songs.

    Well yeah, but Breezy's albums aren't "trash" either. Borrowing Kold's terminology, they're 'mediocre'. As are the first two Cole albums.

    Side note: I like TSS more than Born Sinner personally, I feel like he had something to prove with the production on that album. The lyrics fell short for me but

    CWTSS had a lot of potential had Cole included some of his so called "classic" material that's vaulted as well as the No.ID tracks that are also vaulted :mjcry:. I'll go to my grave saying Jay should have hopped on God's Gift, would have elevated that song and Cole would have written a better 2nd verse.

    I agree with this, Cole has like 'cantwriteasecondverseitis' it almost ruined Apparently for me :idk:

    That said I like CWTSS, I find I can appreciate the production on it so much more now that he finally has a good album under his belt.

    CWTSS is miles better than born sinner for me. CWTSS was like 3-4 songs away from being 8.5/10

    I like second verse on Apparently, but I agree with that, on his first two projects that was obvious as h---. That's why you have a thing called "features", but Jermaine likes to do it his own way. Imagine Mr. Nice Watch without Jay.

    Lol that song is one of my favourites off the album now. If Hov didn't hop on that tho :vom::vom:

    Also Cole said he made that song as a response to WTT. Thats part of the problem with the album, there was too much outside influence and not a focus on just making a great album. I believe if that album was cut down to 11 tracks and the writing was cleaned up, it would have been a good debut.

    I still like it so much more than Born Sinner though, I don't even know what the f--- that s--- was lol.
