    Following what @Bliss said, I was impressed that he carried an entire album on his own but he could really use those high-profile features. He bodied every major guest verse he's had so theres no doubt that he gets extra competitive whenever someone else is on the same track.

    A few tweaks and CW:TSS would be 8.5/9 outta 10. Take out the fart line, replace Mr. Nice Watch and Cole World title track with Cost Me A Lot and 2Face. Nas on God's Gift...borderline classic debut. But it's still a 7.25-7.5/10 to me tbh..not bad at all...BS 8/10...FHD 8.75-9/10

    Power trip still the best song of the century but born sinner was a light 6.5/10.

    Word. How High is better than half of that album, I don't know whether the Whitney Houston sample was the problem or his stupid decision, it's should've been on it. Song is a classic. I honestly can't listen to 70% of Born Sinner, it just bores me, I don't know. CW:TSS at least had some energy and classic tracks. Only classic of Born Sinner is Power Trip :idk:

    Power Trip followed by Mo Money is a contender for Cole's best back-to-back tracks. Both classics!

    Born Sinner is a dope project, and I understand why people don't like it.
    It's very dark and can seem dreary and its a departure from "inspirational Cole" but people need to understand that it's a depression album.
    The first half of that album is very strong because it represents depression so clearly with the dark production, low self-esteem and fake confidence. it's exactly what depression feels like from the anger of Villuminati to the self-doubt of Rich Niggaz.

    It's the second half that hasn't aged that well for me and even though I still like the joints some of them just don't do much for me.
    Execution wise this album is dope and definitely not mediocre imo and a better ALBUM than CW:TSS. Just missing a few standout joints.

    FNL is the greatest project EVER as far as I'm concerned, idgaf. Just listened to that s--- the other day, it doesn't get old and I've played it 5000+ times.

    Y'all think Cole is going to continue creating these "concept" albums or is he gonna make another FNL with no storyline just a collection of good songs?

    I think he will always do concepts but I have always wanted a no concept album on mainstream cuz FNL is his debut album to me. Imagine with the right features and producers like a mixtape :dead:

    That hook at the end after that GOAT verse :wow5:

    Cole has at least 2 albums you can make of songs he stashed that were made from 2007-2010. I would bet everything I have that both of those would be a classic. He couldn't make a good song at that point. Everything was great. Wet Dreams confirms it.

    BS had some highlights like Power Trip, LAnd Of The Snakes, Mo Money, Runaway & the title track just the rest of the album sounded dry and boring. In retrospect between Ye, Cole and Mac the one I still play is Mac's project from that day :cam2:

    If you look back to an interview he had Wet Dreamz and Wont be long would have made the first album that the label f----- up.... it crazy how real it would have been if he stayed true to himself and his music. How high and Purple Rain.. wow...

    There will always be some type of theme at least for the near future.

    Don't really care if he does a compilation type, FNL songs but that standout tracks gotta be basically all 10/10 like on FNL.
