Since we're reminiscing can we talk about the GOATNESS of Return of Simba.
This track is absolutely flawless. Sampled 3 different tracks to perfection, and not a single bar is not A1.
That is easily Cole's lyrical peak (with Dead Presidents II being a very close second).

Like how many dope punchlines can you fit in one song... might as well quote the whole song.

@Kold by far my favorite Cole track ever, everything about it is made me believe someday he will reach the top of hip-hop's Mt. Everest even with the stiff competition and doubters.

Don't remember what happened exactly, but you could be right. I strongly believe Cole wrote those verses just for sake of that radio appearance which is funny af cause they're better than most of Born Sinner.

Another classic track. I remember waking up on the Friday 21th, going on JCN and seeing Cole dropped this after months of starving. I had basketball scheduled for 11AM every friday as a part of my college program and the apocalypse was supposed to happen at 12AM. I literally played that s--- from 8AM til I arrived at the gym and not giving a f--- about anything in the world.

You guys underrate BS. That's my favorite Cole project, sounds mad cohesive and it feels more like an album rather than a collection of songs like FHD. Tracks are just so perfect to me, Rich Niggaz, Powrr Trip, LotS, Is She Gon Pop....

A lot of people dont rock with BS also because of their expectations. Putting out BS after those top tier TY tapes was a mistake. Like ive noticed the people that rock with Born Sinner the most are "casual" cole fans.
