    Precedents dont matter too much for me, like i recognize truley yours had a cooler feel to them, but the fact that BS feels so full just gets it that top spot

    @Kold word your explanation of the first half of BS was ideal. Exactly how I felt, there's a lot of nuances that he did well to capture the depressed state he may have been in. Initially preferred the second half cos the first felt too heavy and I couldn't get into it but the more I listened to it, the more i got it n what he was trying to do. Rich Niggaz probs one of Cole's most powerful songs. FHD has a huge advantage cos he sounds lifted and free from the top and it's automatically an easier listen

    Maybe but it is what is. I have no problem with TY because it built a lot of hype and it was dope material. And if you don't mess with BS thats cool, but if you expected Truly Yours type music after he even said "this s--- right here is not a preview, of what the album gone bring you or nothing like that," on Cole Summer then you were kind of setting yourself up for disappointment.

    I have no problem with artists leaving out great songs that don't fit the theme/concept as long as the project is still dope, which I think BS is. This happens with a lot of artists tbh. Westside Right on Time and the Heart Pt. 3 quality wise can make GKMC but they don't fit. 5 AM in toronto (lyrically kills everything on NWTS) and the Motion are better than a lot of the songs on NWTS but they didn't fit. Happens with every artist. At least we are still getting great music :idk:

    I always felt Chris Tucker with a dope video and promotion could have been a nice follow up to Power Trip as a single (although Crooked Smile was a big record as well). Cole's 2nd verse followed by 2Chainz :wiggins2:
