    Beyonce didn't even win Urban Contemporary album of the year over Pharrell even though I liked his album, so she definitely has no chance at AOTY.

    Lol. The Grammy's stay being a joke. I just wanted Iggy to win so Cole would be a confirmed prophet.

    By the way if y'all giving Cole L's today, I want y'all drake fans to come out the woodwork and give him his L's too.

    Kendrick now has 2 to Drake's 1 even though Drake has had way more nominations.

    Again, the Grammy's are a joke.

    i didn't deserve awards but they try make up for last year. I always knew k.dot made that song for the Grammys. Sigh. Eminem winning RAOTY. Sigh. Grammys terrible. Nonetheless, congrats to Kendrick.

    Cole should've won Best New Artist back in 2012. The competition was weak af.

    Congrats to Kendrick although I hated "i"...Eminem stays racking up these awards damm.

    I shouldn't give a damm about Grammy's for hip-hop since they rarely respect it but unfortunately it's by default the biggest "prize" you can get for artists.

    But yo, everyone complains that the GRAMMYS always snub Hip-Hop - a lot of it is our fault.

    Sure, they don't televise the Rap awards. Of course, that's one problem. But there's so many people a part of the culture who don't enrol to be on the voting committee who are eligible to be so what do we expect? The opinions of those who do vote aren't any better than ours but it irks me knowing that can change and it doesn't.

    Perfect post. They were talking about this in the Rosenberg/Joey Bad/Ebro interview and it really opened my eyes. The grammy's are a joke because the people are out of touch with hip hop but also because the hip hop community itself doesn't care enough to enroll.

    Drake's Instagram Grammy's were more credible than any Grammy ever. I take it as a show for the masses, and in every show you have some highs and lows. Hip-hop has somehow always been the lows although it has been the most influencing genre for almost 3 decades. Superstition has a lot to do with it. They do it just to show they are open minded to everything.

    Well said Young GOAT, I always remember hearing this from ?uestlove of The Roots talking about how respected hip-hop folk try finding positions in those committees to really add credibility to handing out these awards for the sake of the culture. Not that the Grammy's have always been crap but looking at a couple past winners it really makes you wonder what went through their heads?
